Visual Intelligence Lab

Visual Intelligence is a research group within the School of Computer Science at University of Galway dedicated to advancing the understanding and application of computer vision, artificial intelligence, and data-driven visual analytics. Led by Dr Ihsan Ullah, our team combines cutting-edge research with real-world impact, exploring innovative ways to enable machines to interpret, reason about, and interact with visual information. We collaborate across disciplines, applying our expertise to areas such as healthcare, automotive technologies, cybersecurity, and smart city systems, while fostering an environment that inspires curiosity, creativity, and technical excellence.
